/ BEFORE THE FIRST CALL

A customer has
a question.
Then another.

A leaking roof. A boiler that needs replacing. A project being planned months ahead.

The urgency changes. The website still needs to remove uncertainty before someone is ready to contact you.

A customer decision path
From uncertainty to a useful enquiry.
  1. 01
    Service

Do you do the work I need?

Name the job. Explain what you handle and help people find the relevant service.

  2. 02
    Area

    Do you come here?

Make genuine coverage clear before someone spends time on an enquiry.

  3. 03
    Proof

Can I trust you with it?

Show completed work, real business details and relevant reviews or credentials you can substantiate.

  4. 04
    Contact

    How do we get started?

Put the right call, quote or contact route within reach. Explain what happens next.

/ THAT THINKING, IN PRACTICE

The right information.
Before the enquiry.

Safeguard Roofing & Building’s rebuild brings the work, Cork coverage and quote route into the opening experience. Real business information, given a clear order.

/ SERVICE FIRST. PLACE SECOND.

Help people find
their kind of job.

A broad list of everything you do can leave a customer guessing. We plan service pages around meaningful differences in the work and the questions people bring to it.

Coverage belongs alongside that information. It should tell someone whether you can help them, without filling the site with near-identical location pages.

When does a service need its own page?

ONE USEFUL SERVICE PAGE

The job they need done.

  • LocateWhere it is available
  • ShowRelevant completed work

Connected to related services and genuine project pages.

/ BUILT ACROSS THE TRADES

The thinking repeats.
The design doesn’t.

A roofing quote, an electrical project and a construction recruitment enquiry are different conversations. The structure, content and design should reflect the business.

Roofing / Cork

Safeguard Roofing & Building

A stronger starting point.

A slow, poorly structured website rebuilt around clear services, local coverage and quote enquiries.

MPH Gas Ltd website shown across desktop and mobile screens

Plumbing & heating / Dublin

MPH Gas Ltd

Give the enquiry context.

Named services and local coverage help distinguish an urgent repair from a planned installation.

Glen Doran Electrical website shown across desktop and mobile screens

Electrical / Kildare

Glen Doran Electrical

Make the offer clear.

A first website introducing electrical services, the areas covered and a route to a quote.

JCD Construction Services website shown across desktop and mobile screens

Construction labour hire / Ireland

JCD Construction Services

Two audiences. Two routes.

Separate journeys for companies hiring operatives and people joining the workforce.

/ THE PHONE IN THEIR HAND

Don’t make them
hunt for the
next step.

Someone comparing contractors needs to read the service, check the area and see your work without fighting the screen.

For an urgent job, a call may be right. For planned work, a quote form can collect the details you need. WhatsApp can be useful where your business actually uses it. We agree the routes around how you handle enquiries.

We test navigation, readable content, touch targets and forms together. The customer should know what they have sent and what to expect next.

/ ROOM TO BUILD ON

A clear structure
earns its keep.

Service names, coverage, headings, metadata and internal links belong in the planning. Fast pages and crawlable navigation help customers and search engines understand the business.

A rebuild also needs to respect existing useful pages and content. We plan redirects where URLs change and check the important enquiry routes before launch.

The structure should have room for new services, completed jobs and useful answers as the business develops. We agree how you will add them and who will handle updates.

A website that grows with your business

Ongoing search work is a separate conversation. We can discuss priorities after the build through our SEO service, without promising rankings or a particular number of leads.

/ BEFORE WE START

A few practical
questions.

Do you only build websites for trades?

No. This is a specialist part of our wider website design and development work. Experience across roofing, plumbing, electrical and construction-related businesses informs the questions we ask; it does not mean every business gets the same website.

Can you replace our existing website without losing its search value?

We review useful pages, content and URLs before planning a rebuild. Changed addresses need relevant redirects, and metadata and internal links need checking. Rankings can change, so we do not promise a risk-free move, but we plan to preserve what is useful rather than start blindly from zero.

Can you create pages for the areas we cover?

Where they give customers useful, specific information. We first agree your actual coverage and service structure. Repeating the same page with a different town name is not the approach; an area page needs a genuine job to do.

Can we add services and projects later?

Yes. We plan the structure and agree how new services, areas and completed work will be added. Who makes updates, what your team manages and any ongoing support are part of the scope.

What do you need from us?

Your services and coverage, business details, project photographs you have permission to use, and the way you want enquiries handled. Relevant reviews and credentials help where available. We agree who provides or prepares each part of the content before the build.
